Are you sure you can't delete? There should be a dropbox at the bottom of your inbox that says, "Selected Messages (#)" (The # is replace with how many messages you've selected). Once you click the drop-down arrow, you should see the "Delete" option.
Because you only get half of what you had on the old forums. Says so in the first post of the credit transfer topic.
