@angel362 Have you looked at some of the wig shops and links in the resource guide?

@angel362 Colour it yourself afterwards? But I guess that is a massive task to take on after getting the wig itself.

Guys, in my thread I posted a link to the album where I uploaded pictures for the process of making my Saber armor.

If any of you are interested or want ideas on how to make an affordable armor, feel free to check it out.

You can buy a white wig and color dye it a yellow copic marker by coloring each strand really it does work but takes a lot of effort. I have done it with prisma markers too but drying is longer. http://cosplayruinedmylife.tumblr.co...orial-and-tips

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could help identify a type of fabric for me? https://gearboxsoftwarecom.s3.amazon...2ce8eb9830.JPG I wanna make a glove like in the tutorial http://www.gearboxsoftware.com/community/articles/1125 But I cannot for the life of me figure out what kind of material it is, so I may order one of amazon.

This is 4-way stretch synthetic dance/swim wear fabric.

Gloves are actually one of the hardest things to make next to shirt collars but I can see why you would need it made for the armor set. Make sure you use stretch thread with it too. Normally called Wooly nylon it has the texture of threaded wool but enough stretch for all types of projects. I suggest buying the longest glove possible and sew another piece to it so that it longer and make sure the seam is in an area that is covered by the armor.

I am actually quite an expert since I worked at a fabric store in college if anyone else has questions too.

a 58 cm one should be long enough. I have next to 0 practice at sewing, so making a glove full stop is a bit much.

Would anyone happen to know a good UK alternative to plasti dip?

Eh not too familiar with it but I heard that there is paint specifically for leather or rubber shoes that can work as an alternative--never tested it myself but you can probably find something for it on the internet.
