I don't think it's a bad deal at all, even if you're based in UK. Don't forget you get all their manga to read too.
If not happy with Crunchyroll though, can also try FunimationNow or Viewster.
I have been using it for 21 months. I almost don't watch anything. Paying 5 pounds every month is my way to support community One thing that I don't like about the site is that you can watch some anime in US version which is unavailable in the UK. That's my main grief and only one
I've used for Crunchyroll for well over a year now - mainly use it on my Xbox/PS3 and IPad.
The console apps can be a bit of a pain - they sometimes lag and jump, but for £5 you get access to a decent size library. It means you can watch whole shows like Gintama, Bleach, Reborn, Jojo's, Durarara, etc.
Like other people have said though, the only annoying thing is the region differences - quite a few shows aren't available on the UK/European catalogue.
never used it, but I like using kiss anime, actually found stuff I haven't seen in years and is not even available on dvd
Hulu works fine for me on my phone but not my tablet. I wanna use my tablet for my main source of viewing since the screen is larger so I will be going back to CrunchyRoll.
Ironically, KissAnime works fine on my tablet but not on my phone lol

I really like using Crunchyroll. It's great to use on my WiiU and PS4. I've been using it much more often since the Ace Attorney anime came out. On the laptop I use a proxy app so I can watch things I can't watch on the UK like the digimon seasons.
It was about three years ago come this December, I used Crunchyroll to watch the first 13 epdioses of Attack on Titan (I didn't know whether there were more episodes until I did a bit of research) and with ads piled on top of that after a short trial ended it really wound me up, and being a bored 15 year old bed ridden with a cold I couldn't stand Crunchyroll and ended up finishing the series on a much 'different' and 'better' site.
So my experience with Crunchyroll is still negative, I know the site must have changed since 2013 and I would be willing to give it another shot if I had the money for membership. If an anime series is on Netflix then I might watch it if the subscription's been paid or if I'm away from my laptop (because Netflix and my laptop [as well as my previous laptop] do not get along).
Crunchyroll had a stall set up in Hyper Japan. I went over to have a look. They had a competition going on. I entered, I didn't win I don't think but the prizes looked really nice. To be honest, I haven't used Crunchyroll that much, only to rewatch digimon and Ace Attorney along with watching random episodes of some anime. Sometimes it crashes on my wiiU, but it seems to work fine on the laptop.
I use Crunchyroll and it's a fantastic service, well worth the subscription price. Considering you also get access to the manga App which works really well on the iPad, as well as all the anime you could possibly have the free time to watch....
It's alright, Through there's WAY to many cutesy and harm anime on there...but there's always jojo bizzare adventure and young black jack to watch on there which is good! But those are my favourite on there!.

Now that Hulu no longer has a free option I will be using CR again.
I never used Hulu, did it have a bigger collection than CR?
