Darkness is nothing but the lack of light, it has no properties except that.
A pessimist wouldn't realise he had won and the optimist wouldn't believe he had lost.
Hyenas are more likely to win by numbers.
Megatron is fighting for himself, optimus fights to be part of stopping him. Eventually Megatron is stopped so who wins depends on what you're looking at, the aims or just the physical battle.
Arrogance and weakness aren't mutually exclusive, you can be weak and over compensating.
An unchanging thing gets boring.

I wonder at your motivations behind saying so.
Not to pick at you personally but I have always considered thinking logically the most freeing thing. If you aren't "held back" by logical thinking you're bound to have your thoughts guided more by your past and those opinions which sit well with you. How is it you feel logic holds you back?
