SUMMARY
Yorito is a high school student who likes to take photographs of the sky. A chance meeting introduces him to Matsuri, but she is no ordinary girl—it turns out that she's actually a 350 year-old Yaka, an immortal being that cannot go out into the light! As such, Matsuri has been forced to live a life of solitude, and Yorito is the first friend she's ever had.


But there is much more to the Yaka than first meets the eye, and a sword-wielding man named Takeshi seems intent on harming Matsuri, but for what reason?


Now thrust into a supernatural battle, will Yorito have the courage to protect their friendship for Matsuri's sake?

Chapter 1

  Spoiler:  

Overall, kinda random chapter with ideas all over the place. I really feel like this one chapter had more potential if it was spread out over at least 5-10 chapters. I do sympathize with the girl about the vending machine though, since that has happened to me before. xP Also, random unnecessary clothing damage at the end. Despite all these things, definitely still enjoyable enough to continue on.

Chapter 1

I agree with it jumping around a bit but I think I got it. Im wondering if she's living in the church and eating soup from the vending machine everyday, also quite curious as to who that guy was and why they fought

Well, at least they finally started to get more on track with the story. Interesting that she is an immortal being, but the real question lies in why he was so into killing her. Also, I assume he had some kinda cursed sword that works against immortal beings? And, if she is immortal, why did she pass out after a fairly light wound? A lot of questions left unanswered.

So I just got done the first chapter.

I liked it but it seems really random and I didn't really know anything that was going on. The main character really likes to take pictures of the sky though

Not something I'd normally read though I've not had time to read manga in ages, but so far I enjoy this looks. Seems to be a bit jumpy and fast paced. And fyi, kicking vending machines hurts :/

thanks for the mention @_Phi_ or I would have never known. Ill try to get around to reading this manga, but to be honest I've been quite busy with work that I barely have time to eat properly :/

After reading the summary it has me intrigued ...

Chapter 1

  Spoiler:  

Really funny when (she hasn't introduced herself yet) keeps on kicking the vending machine! then quite a bit of suspense bringing in that new guy with the glasses that turns out to be attacking the vending machine kicking girl!

Chapter 2

  Spoiler:  

Well Yorito now knows what she is but not who ... though it does seem his is in denial a little bit... she burns in sunlight like a vampire~ ... we find a possible important part to the plot concerning a little girl with an umbrella and the crazy sword/dart guy's name ~ takeshi ... nothing else really important

just these 2 chapters today ~ before i fall asleep hehe

Chapter 3

Couldn't help but laugh at his denial at the beginning of the chapter. I mean, after all, he did witness her wounds healing near instantly. Only other memorable scene was when he turned the lights on. I wonder why she does not have the ability to stay when the sun comes up which is something I suspected from chapter 1, but due to the weird pacing, and how short the manga is, didn't know if they would go deeper into it.

Chapters 4-5

Not much happening really, except introductions to a few new characters who hopefully have some value to the plot. Was kinda sad we didn't get a straightforward answer on why she is only able to appear at night. Also, that development at the end of chapter 5 was really unexpected. And I'm assuming that the attacker will try to take out Matsuri when they attempt to kiss? Not sure why he wouldn't just try it at the church again when she was alone, but I guess this works as well.

I've read Chapter 1-5

So far, not too impressed. Like others have said earlier, it is a bit jumpy at the beginning. Once you find out she is immortal it becomes fairly standard ecchi manga, although on the light side. It is giving a bit of mystery. There is something up with the main character's sister. She appears not to like the sun either, but then could she be in a hospital and not be touched by the sun? So I guess she hasn't been turned into an immortal. I do think the artwork is pretty cute. Maybe the story will improve as we continue.

I am on chapter three too. I like it but I agree the pacing is quite odd. But I think it is pretty different and enjoyable. I do hope we get our unanswered questions cleared up lol
