~ Wolf Pack Inn and Cafe ~ [Everyone Welcomed]

"Well, I was planing on sharpening my knives, then maybe go out for a swim. Nothing big. What about you?"

Emerald continues to eat her hashbrowns, her tail wagging in happiness as she does so. Her fox ears flick around, starting to take in the sounds around her again.

Walker pauses for a moment "I've never been swimming....I wonder if I can" he mused taking a bite of waffle.

"Can't imagine it's much different then flying. just... less breathing?" he asks. then his face falls as he realizes she probably doesn't know how to fly just in the same way he doesn't know how to swim.

"you mind if I join you at the pool?"

Karana poured herself a quick shot of the same burning liquid that she served the man. She quickly downed the shot, enjoying the feeling tingle all the way down to the gut. She left out a soft almost purr like sound. Karana glanced around the bar making sure thing would be fine while she was away. Sphere was already doing her job, so he would not even notice the feline slip away. One man caught her eye when he was at the bar, a Knight. Without meaning to she began listening into the the conversation. A story she had heard once before. One very similar to Nick another realm traveler. The thoughts crossed her mind, seeing Nick dressed up like the Knight and speaking to her in a similar way. Karana's lips curled into a mischievous smile at the thought. She was going to have to mention that one to Nick the next time she saw him. Karana turned from the gentlemen talking without saying a word or adding anything to their conversation. Karana headed out from the bar and walked beside Klien.

"Shall we be off? The forest is a very beautiful place, and the weather lately has been very pleasant."

Karana then headed for the door, assuming the man would follow her. She was quick to cross the room and out the door. The scent of the forest hit her as she exited the building. It was a wonderful feeling being out in nature. The sounds of wild life off in the distance. She had not release how stuff the building seemed to feel till she was out side away from the hustle and bustle. She turned and smiled as Klien joined her.

"it is quite lovely out here."

[Spike]

Everything seemed normal at the Inn and Cafe until a small red oval appeared above the lake. It was at that moment that a screaming giant man came through the oval and was free falling toward the lake. The red oval in the sky disappeared as the giant man hit the water and started sinking to the bottom. Claw would normally just swim to the bank but this time was different. He was wearing his normal leather chest piece with metal shin guards and metal braces but he was also wrapped in some kind of metal fencing. He was wrapped up so tight that he could not move. There was also a little sign attached to the fence and the sign was resting on his chest. The sign read DO Not Feed The Bears. He could not move wrapped up in all that fencing so he sunk to the bottom. It also did not help he was really hungry. He prayed that someone would of heard the screams as he fell and the large splash into the lake. He prayed someone would be strong enough to drag him out of the lake and save him. He did his best to hold his breath and try to hop in any direction when he hit the bottom of the lake. Things did not look good though.

Alex and Evon chat for awhile. Kat walked around,"Mmm im bored...bartender...do you have music?" She asked. Alex chuckled,"Well what made you want music? Bored?" He says jokingly. Evon looks up," Your daughter I assume?" He asked. "Oh yes. My bundle of joy!" He said with a smile.

Emerald chuckles, ruffling the male's hair. "Sort of. Air is less resistant to your movements and yes, less breathing. I know what flying is like hun. Shifter, remember? I have favorite forms, but it doesn't stop me from any other form. I just can't get massive."

Her ears then flick, having heard a muffled scream followed by a large splash. "Did you hear that?"

[Zainin]

Zainin waited for quite a while for Fire to finish her business. He had made his way almost all the way through his bottle of whiskey. He was always a keen observer of people. He watched them come and go. Most times he would even sneak and ear into conversations as well, but not today. With a little liquid courage in him and a nagging feeling he needed to be back in the bar he teetered back in and sat himself and his bottle back at the bar. Pulling back his hood revealing his scarred face.

"How have things been Sphere?"

He said casually as he swirled around the remaining bit of whiskey in his bottle.

Klien followed karana out of the bar, he smiled watching her as she moved. He could tell she was enjoying being back in the outside. he took a deep breath stepping out into the forest again, the fresh air filling his lungs as he stretched his body his armor creaking slightly.

"It is always nice to have the fresh air to breath in. as much as I love a good drink its always better being outside."

He smiled following beside Karana. he enjoyed the felines company, she was much more entertaining than the stuck up people he was used to working with and alongside.

[Sphere]

Sphere looked up when he heard a young woman ask if he had any music. Nodding he pointed to the old fashioned jukebox in one corner of the cafe. Something new they had added when they had remodelled the place. Despite looking like something you would find in the fifties, the juke nox was actually a digital one, filled with thosands of songs from classics to the latests hits.

"Sure do. You can go check out the juke box. Play whatever you like." The azure haired wolf said before turning his attention to Zainin.

"Oh well, the usual. Thankfully. Nothing too surprising has been happening and the inn and cafe has been getting more and more customers. So I'm tentatively calling the reopening a win for us." The bartender and cook spoke, smiling cheerily.

"And yourself?"

[Zainin]

Zainin took a long swig of his whiskey before answering. He was wanting to tell Fire what had happened first but it looked like something was wrong and he wouldn't get his chance for awhile.

"Well yeah you should count it as a win. I don't think I have seen so many people in here for quite some time. Although as you know I haven't been in here myself for a while... Since the incident."

He let it go at that.

"It's been a long road getting myself back together again. Even now I don't feel like I am ready to be around people again. But I have a feeling the pack might need me before too long, so I brought myself out of hiding."

He took another swig with a sour look and peeked into the bottle. He still had 1/3 of it left.

"Got anything .... Better?"

He knew that was gonna set off some red flags... Whiskey was his drink to change that...

[Sphere]

Sphere listened attentively, humming an agreement in response to the other man's statement about the state of the inn. Zainin had been gone for awhile though, and he wasn't here during the previous two attempted revivals... So maybe it was a good thing that he showed up when the inn was really getting somewhere!

As their conversation continued and the other ordered something much stronger, Sphere felt a little alarmed but he nodded his head in aquisition.

"That we do. What are you feeling for?" He asked instead, trusting himself that he would be able to see the beginings of it if something was about to turn ugly. He would cut the man off just before that point.

[Seiei]

Knight ate while listening to Douglas, and nodded. Knight didn't realize just how famished he truly was and wolfed down the contents on his breakfast; the cook was quite excellent. The guardian took a swig of his drink before responding Douglas leaving the response unmade for about ten minutes.

"My master told me once; she did not like being worshiped. It is wrong to worship others no matter whom they are. Those who mainly desire it wants personal power and gain. Most do not gain power directly from worshippers. But if you wish to serve me to your utmost capacity, I will accept that." Knight had paused a moment in thought before he continued.

"Douglas, my master, is not a scoundrel, she always puts others first; her piety knows no equal." Afterward, Knight stood up and puffed up his chest.

"My Lord is sung of in many ballads of legend in our courts. I'm sure you three will like her." He looked at Fang and pointed outside pointing his thumb over his back, indicating Ellie too. Knight yawned.

"I best head to bed, but before I go, is there anything else we need to finish up?"

Douglas nods. accepting the answers.

"That should be all. we'll head out in the morning? to wherever this trace leads us?"

[Seiei]

Knight nodded.

"Very well, good sir on the morrow it is." Knight turned toward Sphere.

"I've finished and thanks again." Knight got up and exited the bar. He stopped at the front counter to book himself a room and paid for it. Then the guardian headed up the stairs to the room he booked. He showered and went to bed.

Knight woke the next morning before dawn quite refreshed after all he slept through to the next day. He cleaned his armor and polished it before he dawned it. Next, he oiled and sharpened his blade, a strange one edged long sword. Refreshed and ready to begin adventuring anew Knight headed down to the bar.

Once he arrived at the bar, he looked around to find his new companions, Douglas, Ellie, and Fang. Sometimes he wished Larknaut had accompanied him; he'd know how to speak to the beast; that man seemed to know all the secrets of the universe, Knight hardly understood any secrets even if he was told about them. To Knight, if it wasn't plain to see, then it didn't exist, and if it did humans like him weren't meant to comprehend it. Thinking in this way made Knight feel better about the many mysteries of the universe he just could not grasp.

[Firewolf]

" True, time does seem to fade away when ones life is endless." The she wolf commented, some what absent minded. Moments like theses, what words could one say. It was pretty grave news. It still plagued on Fire's mind quite a bit. The only answer she had ever come up with, was to kill one of the fragments. If just a piece was destroyed, then in theory it would mean Axiom couldn't become whole once more. That was if, there was even a chance that could happen. There were a lot of questions, and only a few answers. Given this, Fire wasn't sure what words could be offered as comfort.

" You should get to know them" Fire eventually blurted out. " Walker and Adam are two very find young men. If you can excuse Walkers love for booze. " At the end of those words, Fire was able to smile. " I haven't been able to talk with Arthur yet, but so far there is nothing about him that seems malicious. Poor kid a bit off honestly. " The woman kind of nodded to herself, it was at least a start. " Either way, if you don't have any where to be. You should stick around... it would be nice to catch up. I have a sister now,..and well,.. I could use the help with this. It could be like old times. If nothing else, that event did forge quite the friendship. Wouldn't ya say. "

This time Fire smile was warm, and friendly again. Pope after all, was one of Fire's oldest friends. It wasn't every day a person could say they've known ya for a couple thousand years. There was something about that, that made Fire feel calm. a Familiarity maybe,.. the she wolf wasn't about to over think it. She was just glad that someone else from back then was around. " So what do you say,.. think you can handle being around me a bit longer. and Given these guys a chance,.. ?"

Lazily Zoma tilted his head in Nick's direction. His body swayed casually back and forth, almost as if a breeze was about. " Nick,..you say" the blue skin man said with just a slight slur. " A friend?" his eyes squinted again as he looked between the pair. " Of course,.. Just friends right?!" Zoma's tone turn a slight harsh tone,..well just before he burst into a fit of laughter. " What am I saying,.. Jade snag a fine looking fellow like yourself. Ha,.. right. Of course just friends" His laughter continued for a few moments longer before it abruptly stopped, and Zoma turned to Nick once more. " You said something else didn't you,... now what was it,..what,..was,..it.... OH,.. drinks." The last few words said with such enthusiasm it was a bit comical. " Sure thing,.. but Whiskey. So you drink the same harsh liquor as that woman huh.... I hope you picked a better kind than she does. I swear the first time we met, the crap she shared with me,.. well lets just say, it didn't happen again. " The blue skin man shot Jade a look at the end of those words, and at the same time passed the gourd over to Nick.

As Jade watched the whole interaction unfold, it was hard for the woman's face not to turn several shade of blush. Zoma was not a very nice summon per say. He had this knack, which was in short he liked to pick at her endlessly. It was highly disrespectful in many ways, but truth be told if Zoma didn't respect Jade a contract would have never been made. Summon creatures after all didn't stick to summoners they disliked, Zoma was just loud and obnoxious.

"Hiryuu, right?" " Jade asked again, after she had cleared her throat slightly, and regained her composure. " Just call me Jade,.. Ok. There is really no need to be so formal. And Yes, I am sure. Nick and I just met, He probably seems comfortable because we've been drinking... If you want my honest opinion. I believe there is a woman in the bar that is more likely his mate than I'd ever be.... I'm glad he seems comfortable with me. Your friend seems like a genuine nice guy. That's rare where I come from "

It was just then as Jade finished her statement that something, or someone crashed into the Lake. Stunned Jade just stood there for a moment, and exchanged glanced between those around her. " What,.. what was that?" Jade asked a bit panicked, but had already started to remove her boots to go jump into the lake and find out just what that was. " Was that a person,. ?" Jade's words continued.. tho her motions didn't stop and she was already at the edge of the lake about to get in.
