Hello team!

Here's what's going on with CAW at the moment. Our activity level is okay at the moment but I would like to suggest a target of posts a week. I recommend 5 a week, which should be sufficient for everyone. Next, I want to get more writing stuff involved along with the graphics and art. I'll be focusing on getting some submissions for the fanzine and art battle, but would really love to get some writing stuff in as well. We've got some good work so far.

So let's go out there and spread the creativity and love!

Goals
*I would like each of you to try and post 5 times a week
* Get more submissions for the fanzine
* Get more writing out there
* More people commenting

I would also maybe suggest trying to get more photography in too?
Anything like cosplay photography or general stuff. We seem to be lacking that.

We could make a thread for people to post pictures they have taken and want to share. Could be quite successful

That would be cool. I know some people do it in the cosplay thread but they're welcome to do it on here too.

Since I'm not sure where to post this I'll mention it here since it has to do with my personal agenda moving forward.

I'd like to create a critique request initiative for written work. The specifics I've yet to hammer out but can do so with ease. What I'm not sure about is whether or not something like this that I'd like to see become a permanent fixture of the forums can or should be created as a sticky or not to increase visibility.

Also, would this be the place to discuss other proposed ideas for increasing activity through other means? I feel like we are addressing a symptom rather than the problem itself by just trying to increase activity purely by posting more ourselves and hoping that drags other users along with us. There are some proactive measures we can take that might help as well.

Do we currently have any kind of outreach into other sections that could help notify us of people that might be potential writers? Do we have any assistant or moderator friends in EZ or Entrance Hall that could @ me if new members mention liking writing and/or literature or if someone makes a post in EZ about books?

Hmods have their own skype group chat so I can pass that message along.

I would really appreciate it if those two forums in particular would ask their people to do that. As they will be doing their work looking through far more posts than I could due to it being their responsibility, its just more efficient to ask them to mention me so I can find it whenever they come across it rather than me trolling through everything as well. Entrance Hall is especially important in that way. I wish all the staff could get together and express how much some kind of system like that would be beneficial to notifying sections of people that they can come engage with in an attempt to bring them on as active, productive posters in their subs.

now it goes a lot better, but before i needed to live with my in laws
because my ex threw me out of my own house. with most of my stuff
but that gave my boyfriend and me the extra push to go aboard.
so everything happens for a good reason
