Grew up on West Wing. If there ever was a time for it to come back when reality is fraught in politics across the world, it is now.

Enjoyed The Newsroom a lot. Slight bias as I've worked in that environment before, but it's great to have Jeff Daniels on tv. I also used to love the sitcom Drop The Dead Donkey.

Lol right. The politics of West Wing seem like fantasy now, while at the same time, a few years ago, House of Cards seemed overly dramatic, but now...

Of course, it doesn't help when the actors want to be politicians themselves. Reagan opened the floodgates it seems? The Rock vs Kanye West for 2020? Tom Hanks vs A Reality TV Star?

And of course, it helps even less when the actors doing nefarious acts in shows like House of Cards are accused of nefarious acts in real life. The blurring of reality and television is becoming too close to distinguish.
