I just finished Greenhouse Academy. It's pretty good.

Been watching Children of the Whales on Netflix its good so far

Been trying to watch more of the anime on Netflix

as well as catch up on anime iv been after for a long time

so much anime to watch so little time!

I have a weird Marmite relationship with Netflix. It has a great month, then it has a quiet month. I tend not to binge shows on there in case there's nothing left. Though it did have a fantastic March/ April with A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Lost In Space and The Good Place for me.

Then I watched some of New Legends of Monkey out of intrigue... and I felt like it was trying to push me away again. So hit and miss...

Their own productions are much better than some of the series and films they pick up. (At leas the UK version). They just tend to fall behind on films where Now TV and Amazon don't. Thank heck they put out a tonne of Monty Python content to keep me laughing until they get some more funny stuff in.

Netflix is awful in the UK for films! I mostly watch it for the shows Also UK Netflix give us Parks and Recreation already!!

@thederus I recommend Jane the Virgin if you like dramatic over the top style. It's so good in my opinion! Also One Day at a Time gets better and better and touches on some really sensitive subjects really well while still being a comedy.

@Pixiedora damn straight! I enjoyed when they had Always Sunny and Community on there, so it makes sense that Parks & Rec should be there too. They've not done wrong for US sitcoms over the years. Now that Brooklyn 99 has been axed from TV, I fully expect Netflix to buy the rights to show any new series.

@Erine ah, have been meaning to get into 3% as I'm finding a lot of good foreign dramas and sci-fi which Netflix excels at. There's another series called the Rain I'm interested in, as I enjoy a mix of survival-horror and weather series like The Mist before it. I also get my fix of FullMetal and Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix, but I hope they add JoJo to it soon. Out of all the anime out there it's a series that would translate well to a casual UK audience, thanks to all the music references.

I believe the future of Netflix and other streaming services will be in how they handle video game content. Where the box office tends to fail, Netflix did have a decent Castlevania anime recently and showed the Halo films. I'll be interested to see how The Witcher series works out for them.

It was fantastic to see they had all 11 seasons of Always Sunny there. I'd still get the boxset physically as it's something I can watch over and over, but having it easily accessible is even better.

Children of The Whales looks rather good. Will have to give that a try. Almost looks like it should be made by Studio Ghibli (there needs to be a bigger Studio Ghibli presence on Netflix for sure).

Alco sounds like it should be the mascot anime of AnimeLeague! I hope they're showing Alco at Alcon in the anime viewing room. If not, get DMU a Netflix account!

Apart from all that, they just released a remixed cut of Season 4 of Arrested Development while waiting for Season 5. I don't know what made them think of it, but its massively improved. Jokes that fell flat were taken out, along with any long filler moments. It's now the chain of slapstick laughs it was in the early seasons. The great think about your Netflixes of the world is being able to rerelease these shows and sitcoms with edits or directors cuts, WITHOUT having to purchase another DVD or Blu Ray to get them!
