It's time to travel back in time to...

Childhood!

For the month of July we artists will explore the theme of childhood.

Some ideas for the time machine might be...

Drawing/Digital:

• Draw a toy from your childhood (maybe your favorite)
• From a childhood cartoon draw a character or scene in your own style
• Depict a childhood event (vacation, milestone, family member, etc.)
• Redraw a picture you drew as a kid

Writing:

• Write about an event from childhood (school, vacation, milestone, etc.)
• Reminisce on "back in the day" compared to now
• A story or poem from the point of view of a toy waiting for you to play with it
• Advice from your 5 year old self to your adult self (or any other age)

These are just some ideas for inspiration... Any submissions should be shared directly to this thread!

My favorite toy has got to be the classic Nintendo Gameboy. It had like 100 games in one pack and I would play Tetris and Pokemon all day long like it was nobody's business.
