Yeah working in customer service and restaurants I've seen this more often the most. I really hate when they pick up stuff and put it in different areas or throw the on the floor and the parents don't do anything about it. I've seen kids with their dirty hands slam them up against the window making multiple hand prints. Oh and the best one was the guy that told another guy if he was going to clean up after himself because he was a pig and slob and said that's what the matanace people are for. I really wanted to punch the guys in the face.

Not indicating is a big peeve of mine. 'Sure, just fucking pull out in front of me, dickhead'.

I'm slightly tolerant of screaming kids insofar that kids will be kids. Fair enough. But the parents' abject refusal to take any kind of responsibility for their kids is not on. I work in an Opticians and we had an instance of a mother just letting her kid run rampant around the shop. Eventually the inevitable happened and the kid tripped and fell face-first into the floor. The screaming was beautiful. But the mother gave us a piece of her mind claiming that it's our fault; we shouldn't use linoleum flooring because it's slippery, apparently.

I figured that wasn't the best time to respond with "actually, he tripped over my foot..."

Pro-tip: Polished Lino is awesome; kids running at top speed and pratfalling onto it slide a good distance on their faces on that stuff.

People who don't clear their tray away in a fast food restaurant (e.g. McDonald's) under the misguided belief that it's the staff's job. Which is fine, but it's more the fact that unless your parents did a fucking shit job of raising you as a half-decent human being, it's something you would just do anyway. Clean up after your own shit. It's only fair.

Those stupid wireless headphones that people use for their phones, so now we have a bunch of cunts walking around talking to themselves.

People who think it's okay to just approach your dog and help themselves to a fuss. Unfortunately, my dog isn't the 'murder children' type, so I can't teach them or their parents the appropriate life-lessons. But it's not okay; my dog is the "I don't like being touched in certain areas" type, and she did knock a kid on his ass when he ran up to her and yanked on her tail. You can imagine how fucked off the mother was.

People who don't clean up after their dogs. I take mine out for 4 hours a day and clean up every single scrap of shit; what's your excuse?

People who don't flush toilets in public areas (usually at work) under the stupid fucking paranoia of "toilet handles are caked in germs, waaah!". You realise that's the entire fucking point of hand-washing, right? Also the reason we have gallons and gallons of anti-bacterial handwash, too? And Clinell Wipes for every conceivable surface? When I find out who it is who keeps doing this at work, i'm throwing him down the fucking stairwell.

People who think it's okay to speak to other people (usually those in retail) like shit. Actually, depending on the situation, I kinda like this because by the same token I can refuse to serve people who are rude. I can also insist on making life extremely difficult. So here's a pro-tip: If you're one of those stupid fucking cunts who leaves it to the last fucking minute to buy their contact lenses or glasses that you apparently absolutely must have for that holiday you're going to in 3 days time (bearing in mind the lead time of a pair of glasses is at least a week), then don't speak to me like shit and act like your procrastination and poor planning is my fault. Because I can either decide to bend over backwards and source the lenses from our trial banks instead of getting retail packs (even if it's just a few to tide you over), or I could decide "nope. Need to order them as per proper procedure. 3-5 days minimum lead time. Guess you'll have to do without". Bearing in mind i'm not on commission, nor is my pay packet tied to our Customer Care score. So it's your choice, dickhead.

Liberals who have this retarded idea in their head that everything would be so much better if laws weren't so strict. I'd invite you to go to Singapore. It's the cleanest fucking city on the planet thanks to the 6 months jail time you get if you're caught dropping litter. Also there is absolutely zero welfare, in a country where the average mortgage is $4,000SGD per month (about £2,251, or $3,000 USD); tax rate at 50%, and yet their homelessness rate is one of the lowest in the world, so I don't buy the whole bullshit of welfare being a necessity in any country, much less ours.

I'm sure i'll think of more when I'm less tired. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

I don't think the governance of Singapore is an apt comparison to the governance of the UK for a variety of socio/political/economic/geographic factors.
