Cool Japanese Bands/Singers you discovered through anime

that you decided to look into and found out all of their songs are Bangers.

For me, those bands would definitely have to be Asian Kung fu Generation, The Pillows and KANA BOON.
Their entire discography slaps thru the frickin roof???

Re: Japanese Bands/Singers you discovered through anime

When I was growing up making Anime Music Videos was quite popular (still is though not to the same extent as back then). So I discovered not only some great anime soundtracks/singers but also quite a few singers/groups through the songs people were/are using.

Niiice, there are still a few channels that put them out semi-regular that have some amazing creators under their wing.

Mad Capsule Markets. Asian Kung Fu Generation

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

I really like Kalafina. I first heard them in Black Butler, then Arslan Senki, Kara no Kyoukai and then Madoka Magica.
Just kept hearing them and liked all that I heard so eventually checked them out fully.

Re: Japanese Bands/Singers you discovered through anime

      In deed!
I also bough several physical CD's ( mainly near all DB & DBZ. OST & BSM ) But my loved number 1 is Tsuchiya Anna, who I discover through Nana ( Yazawa, Ai) Anime /Live Action Movie (Kamikaze Girls "Shimotsuba monogatari") <3 <3

over years I have been download over 40 GB of Mp3 ( and other formats, ) also ripped my own CD's ...
My last Acquisition was an author signed CD: Violet Blaze by Kitade Nana, who ply at "XXIV Saló del Manga de Barcelona" (Now "Manga Barcelona) XD.
      It was an A W E S O M E - L I V E - P E R F O R M A N C E ! ! ! <3. Unfortunately... at the end of the Video (over half an hour recording with my new Phone... ) it switch off! and corrupted the video file TT__TT Loosing it all the recorded concert.

Violet Blaze by Kitade Nana. Signed Cover CD+extra (LQ).jpg

So, ... now I am searching more legal choices like Amazon Music. ( Still don't like Spotiffy, or iTunes) and discover several new artist.
