New Witcher game planned - CD Projekt Red not resting on their laurels

It's been reported that CD Project Red will begin development on the new Witcher installment as soon as Cyberpunk 2077 is shipped. According to the studios president they already have a clear concept in mind for "a huge single player game". This news comes weeks after CD Projekt Red's net worth rose to over $6.5 Billion, showing that they are not letting the recent meteoric rise of the company and the palpable hype surrounding Cyberpunk go to their heads It's business as usual from this clearly hard working development team.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Od strony zarządzania realizowanymi projektami posiadanie dwóch linii produktowych – Wiedźmin/The Witcher i Cyberpunk oraz niezależnych zespołów deweloperskich będzie umożliwiać prowadzenie równoległej produkcji poszczególnych projektów i wyrównanie planu wydawniczego w kolejnych okresach

yea what I gathered form the article I read is that the new game will be based in the "Witcher universe" and that a small team will be starting the project while the bulk of the studios resources will be focused on Cyberpunks multiplayer elements.

I like that they're focusing their efforts. They've created two worlds and will make games within them, similar to what BioWare did for a while with Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
