Your saddest anime ending/Deaths

Some other sad ones I didn't think of until now are Pip Bernadotte from Hellsing Ultimate and Toya from Ayashi No Ceres.

Wolf's Rain got me pretty bad. Although I am pretty shocked that Sailor Moon, Steins;Gate and Casshern Sins didn't make it.

Yeah some of sailor moon deaths were sad I almost forgot about that series which was one of my first anime.

I think that the deaths can be super sad, no matter what kind of show, if you love the characters enough. XD

Wolf's Rain. Its the only anime I have started, that I physically could not finish. I never got past the first 4 episodes or so that were on disc one. It might be that hit too close to home. Every damn episode had me crying, and I just wanted to hurt something. Wanted to slam my fist into something, because I felt utter wrong. Make something else feel bad, so I wasn't feeling that alone. Which is why I have never watched to the end, and will never watch to the end.

Everything else on the list, I don't remember being sad. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime, but really don't see how that was sad. Spike's death is him finally free.

From Samurai X: Reflection Kenshin's death was extremely sad, I thought as well as Tomoe's from Trust x Betrayal.

Luckily, most of the characters I love don't die. >_>;
And whenever it does happen, I'm usually pissed about it. For the longest time I was in denial about Spike's death from Cowboy Bebop.

I saw the subject of this thread from the Index page and immediately thought "Wolf Rain." That is BY FAR the saddest anime I have ever watched. I get teary eyed now just from hearing "Finding Beauty" (renamed "Face On" for WR) on Pandora. I won't spoil anything but MAN!

been a while since i checked back on my topic and wolf rain seems to be winning, i only watched the ending of wolf rain and it was very sad, as for death note i have seen it 10 times and monster 2 times and school days 2 time , GANTZ 1 time and sword art online is still on going but some
of the deaths are very sad. can anyone tell me if Cowboy bebop is any good? everyone says it is and i am not sure if its any good, if anyone can explain it to me on what its about and if its sad?

My saddest deaths, were L from Death Note and Gaara from Naruto before he got revived. Since because I first saw Gaara in Naruto and instantly fangirled xD

Basically all of the characters supposidly. What got to me was Okita-san and Yamasaki-kun since wasn't expecting but all time fav was Hijikata.

Also Wolf's Rain though its' been ages since I've seen it.
Jiraiya in Naruto. Like most of you I think he's still alive somewhere.
Merry, White Beard, and Ace from One Piece that was very sad
Wizardmon from Digimon reaaaally got to me.
Yami Yugi when I was a kid when he jumped in front of Joey got me and thought he had died plus when he leaves at the end.
Ash turning to stone in first Pokemon Movie got me too,

Yeah Pharaoh Atem leaving was rather sad, he was pretty much part of the gang and would do anything to help them.
